Day four was probably the most jammed packed of the whole week (maybe--hard to tell!).
We started out with one of my favorite character breakfasts at Cape May! This is located inside the Beach Club resort.
I love the food here. It feels so much fresher and brighter than a lot of the buffets.
It's not a Disney World breakfast without Mickey waffles!
Minnie, Goofy, and Donald all come in their beach gear, which is so cute. This meal never feels rushed or over crowded like some of the more popular character dining (I'm looking at you Chef Mickey's), and the food is actually delicious. The dinner at Cape May isn't a character meal, but it does have a seafood buffet!
So after breakfast, we hopped on the bus and drove over an hour to Port Canaveral. The port itself is gorgeous, and look at this loading ramp onto the ship! So we spend the next few hours touring the Disney Dream. Disney Cruise Line has 4 ships (right now!), and the Dream and the Fantasy are the two larger ships. They hold up to 4000 people and they are magnificent!
As we got on, we saw the Mouse himself leaving to greet passengers as they load up!
The lobby of the Dream is really beautiful. These are modeled after classic ocean liners, so they are this gorgeous mix of classy and Disney!
Admiral Donald is the real boss of this ship! He looks pretty bossy here.
I love the Cinderella mosaic. Just like Disney World, there are great little touches everywhere!.
There are three dinner locations on the ship, Enchanted Garden, Animators Pallet, and the Royal Palace. When you board the ship, you are assigned your rotation on where you will eat each night. You waiters actually travel with you, so you will have the same servers each night even in a different location.
Another fun little extra is the Detective Agency around the ship. There are little puzzles throughout the ship that the kids can work on!
There are lots of adult only areas on the ship. This is the pool and an outdoor bar that is adult only.
This is the main pool and the Aqua Duck. It is considered a water coaster and not just a water slide because it goes back up at one point! Eek!
On the main deck, there are a couple of glass bottom hot tubs!
I wouldn't suggest these if you are scared of heights! Wow!
I love this slide! It's adorable and looks like so much fun!
There are no swim diapers allowed in the main pool area, which means that your kids need to be completely potty trained to go in. However, there is this super fun splash area where anyone can play! It's super cute too.

There are two premium and adult only dining location. Both of them are beautiful and require reservations. They are add on in terms of price. Palo brunch is only served on days at sea, so you want to consider that when you are looking at the length of your cruise!
Remy is the French inspired restaurant, and it is a more significant upcharge. It is the only place with more of a real dress code on the ship, so bring something pretty if you want to eat here!
In the movie Ratatouille, they open two bottles of wine. Because the whole place is inspired by that film's main character, you know they have those two bottles of (insanely expensive) wine in the wine collection. There are still Disney touches in these adult only sections, but they are more subtle.
Not so subtle is the smallest room on the ship! It's Pepe's room! Hilarious.
Now on to the kids club! These places are amazing. They are for ages 3-12, and your child has to be fully potty trained to go here. There is an open house the first day for parents to come by and check it out.
So if you've been to Disney World, you are probably familiar with Magic Bands, Those are not used on DCL, but they do give them to kids in the kids club. They are secured on them, and they use them to keep track of them. Security in the kids club is NO JOKE. Once they are in, they are watched carefully. I can't WAIT to get our boys in here. I know they are going to love it (and we will love the time too!)

There is an "Andy's room" area that is totally precious.
You can crawl through Slinky Dog!
And climb on Rex! (I'm a huge Rex fan!).
If your kids are under 3 or not potty trained, they can go to the Small World Nursery. It's a charge of $9/hour, but it's a great option for younger child care. They have a sleeping room here in case they need to nap or go to bed before you pick them up.
And it's adorable!
There is a Bippity Boppity Boutique on the ship so that your princess can get her hair and dress up going. They change to pirate's league where boys and girls can get ready for pirate night on the ship too.
There is a pre-teen and a teen club called Edge and Vibe. They are really cool and they have lots of activities for that age group too.
If your kids are in any of the clubs, you can go to any of the adult only areas. There are bars, comedy clubs, dining, and pools that are adult only. The balance of kids only, adult only, and family activities is so nice on these ships. They know how to do vacation right.
We got to eat at Cabanas, which is the buffet area on the ship. It was SO GOOD and we were stuffed with all of the choices. Our "one day no night" cruise was awesome ;-) We saw every category of room on our tour, but because they were not "show ready," I wasn't able to take pictures, but I can tell you about any of them if you're interested! We also got to check out the stage area where the evening show are. I can't wait to take my family on a cruise (we are scheduled for a halloween one on my birthday weekend, but I would love to squeeze one in before then too!).
After a whirlwind tour, we had to disembark before they took off! Boo! We drove back for about an hour and landed at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Since it was our last night, we decided to power through our exhaustion and head straight to Animal Kingdom without even taking a break in the room.
I've been dying to try out the new signature restaurant in Animal Kingdom called Tiffins. As usual, our service there was incredible. Our service told us all about the art and design of the three rooms in here.
Gorgeous, classy, and interesting.
Even though we weren't on the cruise ship long, we weren't very hungry, so my friend Danni and I spilt a few appetizers. We both got the lobster curry popcorn soup, which is AMAZING. I mean incredible. Really really really good. Go order this stuff.
We also ordered grilled octopus, because, why not. It was awesome. Danni didn't think she was going to be a fan, and she loved it too!
We got a bread service because I love bread services. They were all good, but the pomegranate olive oil was the real stand out.
We somehow found some room for Dole Whips (there is always room for dole whip!)>
Then we walked over and met a lot of our travel agent friend for the Rivers of Light "surprise and delight" show. The show officially opened on 2/17, but fast passes magically opened up 2 weeks early and we got to check it out. This show has been delayed for most of a year, so it was SO exciting to be there at this viewing. The crowd was all buzzing with excitement!
Without spoiling too much, I can say that it was a gorgeous show. I loved the music and the theming. I feel like the show fits the park really well, and I can't wait to see it again (in 13 days!).
On our way out, we saw a bunch of merchandise that we hadn't seen before! That glow stick glows with the show, which is so fun!
On our way out, we jumped on the last Everest to run. We got in the front row, and at the very top, we saw the Epcot fireworks. It was AWESOME!
Hollywood Studios was having Extra Magic Hours, we took a bus over and got in Toy Story Mania, Star Tours, and Tower of Terror.
Then we ran over to the Polynesian and met up with friends at Trader Sams. It was crowded, so we headed outside. I am more of a "glass of wine for dinner" kind of girl, but I wanted to try it. They did have a Dole Whip drink, so I got that one, because you can't have too much Dole Whip!
And with that, we took an Uber back to Animal Kingdom lodge and called it a night! What a day!.
